I love using an old coke crate for a centerpiece during the holidays. It’s just cool!
If you look closely, you’ll notice that my table runners aren’t the same in the photos. The black diagonal plaid one is from Target and it’s cut down from a plastic tablecloth… I kid you not. I was going with it until I found this cool red plaid runner at Home Goods. I think I like the red better. The black coloring looks good but it was plastic, people. How tacky is that?
Still, I’m going to call the ‘plastic tablecloth cut down to a table runner’ a kinda genius move!
This room is so difficult to photograph because ahem, ahem… as you can see below, I crammed a big tree in there, which blocks all the light and makes weird shadows and also scoots the table off center from the light fixture. The things we’ll do to put a lighted tree in the front window of our home!
And Cocoa hates it because it blocks her view of the street!
