Desk Rehab
Another garage sale find… this one was $20.
My 10 year old has been begging for a desk and I thought we could make this one work just perfectly!
She wanted to paint the desk so I let her do the entire first coat of paint and she did an amazing job!
We picked out some hardware at Hobby Lobby to add a little bit of her personality.
And I couldn’t resist giving you the reality picture of what the desk looked like a couple of days after I took the pictures for the post! She’s definitely made it her own!
FYI: I used ASCP Pure White paint on this desk.

How awesome that you let her paint some too. I never seem to have the patience to attempt that with K. 😉

July 24, 2012 at 12:42 pmWhat a cute desk…and all the more special because your daughter helped to redo it! A couple of years ago my then 10 year-old son painted (with my assistance) a bed and desk for his room. It may not have been perfect, but it was something that he was really proud of. 🙂
