I have a LOOKOUT list, do you have a list like that? My Lookout List is a list of things I am “on the lookout for” especially when I’m antique shopping or at garage sales. It’s a list that could easily be found in a day but I want these items at bargain prices! So, what does this have to do with my Winter Tablescape? Well, a BIG, chunky, cool lantern has been on my list FOREVER and I found it for my Winter Tablescape. In case you wonder, I found it at Hobby Lobby. I’m sorry to brag, but isn’t it amazing????
I love this tablescape because it’s timeless. I have a thing for TIMELESS holiday decor. What is Timeless Holiday Decor? Decor that is still relevant on January 30th and doesn’t need to be removed on December 26th!
For the rest of the centerpiece, I used various candlesticks that I already had in other places in my house, none of them match. I picked up the birch tree candleholders at Hobby Lobby. Those awesome glittery twine balls are from Hobby Lobby too. You’ve gotta love HL always, but especially during the holidays!
These place settings are pure TARGET. The buffalo plaid placemats are from the Dollar Spot in Target. They were $3 each. I love, love, love them. I also got the wooden tree napkin rings at Target. I already owned the gold chargers and I used my own white napkins. I made that table runner from flour sack dish cloths… also bought at Target. That tutorial can be found HERE.
Thanks for stopping by to check out my Holiday Home Tour!

December 22, 2015 at 12:11 amLove tablescapes as much as I love changing the mantle! Great showcase, Nicole! I love the buffalo plaid, it’s always my favorite, anytime of year. I rushed to Target to find them but they either didn’t have them here or I missed them. I’m bummed! I love the idea of having a set table all the time; however, my table becomes a place of gathering all the time and a place where people leave things and I don’t know that the arrangement would make it … maybe once the kids leave home? To dream!
