I thought I’d post photos of the updated remodel because they just installed the cabinets. I love them! You will have to use your imagination on the granite countertops and hardware but here’s what we have so far. The above photo is the new wall that will have glass on the upper cabinets with floating shelves between. The entire wall will be bricked in travertine tiles
Meet the new island. This side (above) will have the gas range top.
This side of the island (above) will have seating. There will also be seating at the very end of the island. The island measures 4 ft. x 9 ft.
This is the new pantry cabinet. It will have doors that match the existing cream colored cabinets, on the older part of the kitchen.
Forgive the mismatched hardware, we were trying to pick the style and size. This is what we came up with…
We placed a special order for the longer bar handles for the wider sized drawers. See how we pieced a few together in that photo (above)? It gave us a good idea of what that size would look like. We also decided to change out all the knobs on the previous cream cabinets to bars.
