Hello. Meet my new spice drawer. I have set up a new space for my 8 “most used” spices. This little drawer is located right next to my gas range top. That range is not included in the photograph because it hasn’t been installed yet. I am just beginning to organize my new kitchen space and I’m getting really excited about how it’s all coming together.
Details: I bought the jars at Home Goods, they are 4 oz jars that cost about $1.25 each. I think the package of 4 jars was $4.99. I bought two packs, obviously. I used mini furniture pads (the kind that go on the bottoms of chair legs) inside the drawer to keep the jars from rolling around or moving (see photo below).
I used my Silhouette Cameo to create the labels. The font is called “Janda Elegant Handwriting”
I buy all my vinyl from Happy Crafters (Affiliate – See my disclosure statement here). They have the very best vinyl! If you are working with a detailed, small project such as the lettering on these jars, then you must have a vinyl that doesn’t “gum up” or have trouble with clean cuts. I love, love, love the quality of HC vinyl. Check them out!!
I have about 20 additional spices in my pantry cabinet. I’ll detail the organization of those in a later post. Here’s a glimpse of that project, that is currently a work in progress.
